At home
If someone dies at home

Call the family doctor, or 111 out of hours. A doctor needs to confirm the death and, in time, issue the medical certificate.

When you are ready, we bring your loved one gently into our care at the chapel of rest.
In hospital
If someone dies in hospital

The ward will help
The hospital cares for your loved one for now. The bereavement office will guide you on the paperwork and when it is ready.

When the hospital is ready, we bring your loved one into our care and begin the arrangements with you.

Flowers, donations and the day itself
Can we have flowers, or would you rather donations?
Both are welcome, and it is entirely your choice. Many families ask for family flowers only, with donations in memory to a charity that meant something to their loved one.
We can arrange flowers for you, and set up a way for people to give in memory. Just tell us what you would like.
How do donations in memory work?
We can collect donations at the funeral, or set up an online page so people can give in their own time. The money goes straight to the charity you choose.
Tell us the charity and we will look after the rest.
What can we expect on the day?
We will have gone through everything with you beforehand, so there are no surprises. On the day, our team looks after the timings, the cars and the small details.
Your only job is to be with your family. We stay close by the whole time, so if anything is needed, we are there.
